Hello there! Hi everyone! I am Dr. Souza e Silva (but I prefer to be called Daniel). I am a Brazilian clinical neurophysiologist and I’ve been working with EMG for over three decades.

Along all these years of experience, I can say that the usage of needles is the most important part of the procedures and I’ve also realized a lack of researching and learning material with real life visual support.

The standard material in the market is usually limited by pictures in books, but we all know that it is not the ideal because in this case we will miss the main information, which is the movement and the right use of the lever system to obtain the correct isometric contractions by the patient.

Our main target is to clarify the exactly gest of placement of these electrodes. Nothing else! The extra information, such as, the anatomical aspects can be found in countless literature. Our focus is on this gap between the literature and real life.

In this material that I’ve developed you can follow the procedures being performed in a person while looking at the monitor of the EMG machine. The videos are straightforward and full of knowledge.

Finally, our goal is to help as many people as possible because I know for a fact that this is not a problem just here in Brazil, but worldwide.
